The Bruce Museum Family pack

The Bruce Museum is offering a new self-guided activity for families. The new “Bruce Moose Activity Packs” are available free at the front desk for families to borrow and use while visiting the galleries.

“Bruce Moose Activity Packs are designed to help you and your child explore the museum’s galleries in a fun and hands-on way,” says Laura Stricker, the Museum’s new Manager of Youth & Family Programs. “Each pack contains four to five objects and activities that will encourage more looking, more learning and more discoveries!”

Youth & Family programs at the Bruce Museum are generously supported by a grant from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation.

On April 3rd 2016, JuanVicente Ellis is inviting our scholarship program beneficiaries to enjoy and share an afternoon of fun with their families and friends. During the lunch, we will announce the winner of our new social program ,”My hero Scholarship”. My Hero scholarship will benefit those children causing mayor social impact in our communities, providing joy, support and generosity that dignifies the power of change through positives actions.

All the Scholarship recipients have to write to volunteer@embracingart.org to confirm your attendance.

99th Annual Members Bendhaim Exhibit 2016

On March 11th 2016, co founder of the Embracing Art Volunteer Team Juan Vicente Ellis, will deliver a cash prize to one of the featured artist selected by Juror Akili Tommasino, Assistant Curator, Museum of Modern Art, NYC, as part of  the 99th Annual Member Bendhaim Gallery Exhibit.

The public reception will be this coming Friday 11th, from 6-8 pm. That night, you will have the chance to meet the awarded artists and participate in this beautiful Award ceremony.

As always, the Embracing Art Volunteer Team is proud to support all the nonprofit organizations in the area, to bring the arts to our community and our volunteers. Join us!!!!
