The Mill River (aka the Rippowam River) is the drainage system for three-quarters of Stamford. Following a wet and rainy 2018, the river is flowing steadily and carrying all that water to the Long Island Sound- along with unwanted debris. Join us on Saturday, January 26th in a community clean-up effort to remove trash and natural debris that has been carried and deposited into Mill River Park’s meadows by the rushing current! We’ll provide boots and waders so you don’t get your clothes wet, and hot drinks and refreshments will be provided. RSVP by emailing Trent McCann at trent@millriverpark.org *
